Where else have Michigan State’s top targets visited in June part two

In this article we will take a look at some of the top Michigan State targets, and which other schools they have visited so far this June. With unlimited official visits kicking, starting in July, class of 2024 prospects will no longer be limited to five official visits this fall. For now, in the month of June, there is still a limit of five trips per recruit, meaning any prospect deciding in July will not be able to take advantage of the new rule change.
Five-star David Stone, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
Michigan State will be what five-star David Stone claims is his last official visit, coming on June 23. It will be the eighth trip to East Lansing for Stone, most recently visiting in April for the Spartan spring game. The Spartans have always been near the top of the list for the five-star, at times even leading according to Stone himself. Oklahoma is the biggest competitor in his recruitment, growing up in Del City (Okla.). He took an official visit to Norman on June 16.
Stone also took official visits to Miami on June 2 , also seeing Florida on June 9. Texas A&M and Oregon are two others that have also been involved. The recruitment of Stone will likely last until signing day, even though a summer decision is becoming more likely.
Four-star LB Kris Jones Fairfax (Va.) High School
Michigan State welcomed four-star linebacker Kris Jones on an official visit on June 11-13, a midweek visit sandwiched between visits to Florida (June 9) and Georgia (June 16). The Gators and Bulldogs are seen as the two favorites in his recruitment as Michigan State hopes to join the top group.
Jordan Hall was the host for the four-star in East Lansing. Hall is from the same area in Virginia, playing in the same little league organization. Jones has not announced a timetable on his decision but Michigan State made sure to put the full court press on during the official visit. The four-star spent one-on-one time with Spartan coaches and Mel Tucker.
Four-star WR Kwazi Gilmer, West Hills (Calif.) Sierra Canyon
Michigan State was the second visit for the four-star wide receiver Kwazi Gilmer. It was his second visit to East Lansing with his first trip coming in the summer of 2022. The Spartans and wide receivers coach Courtney Hawkins made a strong impression on the four-star, as Gilmer claimed Michigan State and UCLA were standing out after the visit.
Gilmer visited UCLA on May 26, before visiting Michigan State on June 2. He then visited Stanford on June 9 along with Washington on June 16. He will visit California on June 23 as his last trip of the month. Michigan State hopes to remain in the top group. Beating the in-state schools, especially UCLA for Gilmer would be a tough feat, but the Spartans and Hawkins positioned themselves strongly on the official.
Three-star DB Justin Denson, Providence (RI) La Salle Academy
Michigan State will also welcome three-star DB Justin Denson on his last official visit on June 23. The Spartans have longtime been the public leader for Denson. Florida gave the three-star a lot to think about on an official visit in Gainesville on June 9. Denson visited Oklahoma on June 16 as the Sooners look to join the top group with Michigan State and Florida.
The Spartans will look to swing the momentum back in their favor in what could be Denson’s final visit before his decision. Denson was also recently offered by Alabama. He will take an unofficial visit to Tuscaloosa on June 21.
