Where Alabama is ranked in the polls after Week 1
After a long Week 1 of college football that included games on Sunday and Monday of Labor Day Weekend, the Week 2 poll from the US LBM Coaches Poll has been released. The AP Poll will be released later today.
Alabama rose one spot in the poll, jumping from No. 5 in the preseason to No. 4 in Week 2.
The Crimson Tide played at home in Week 1, dominating Western Kentucky by a final score of 63-0 in new head coach Kalen DeBoer‘s first game in Tuscaloosa. This week, Alabama has another Group of Five team on the schedule, with South Florida set to come to Tuscaloosa for a 6 p.m. CT kickoff on Saturday.
Alabama is one of eight SEC teams in the poll, and the third-highest SEC team behind Georgia and Texas. Alabama still has games remaining against No. 1 Georgia, No. 10 Missouri, No. 12 Tennessee, No. 13 Oklahoma, and No. 19 LSU on the schedule for this season.
