When They Were Rebels: The pick will soon be in for draft-eligible Ole Miss footballers
Ole Miss football could be well-represented in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Four Rebels, in particular, are well-positioned for selection, though seven others are hoping to get the call once NFL teams start making their picks Thursday at 7 p.m. CT. Rounds two and three are on Friday. Rounds 4-7 are Saturday.

JONATHAN MINGO
OLE MISS 2022 BIO: Earned second team All-SEC honors from Pro Football Focus … Received second team All-SEC honors from the SEC Coaches … Week 7 SEC Co-Offensive player of the week after monster day against Vanderbilt … Started all 13 games for the Rebels … Finished with 51 catches for 861 yards and five touchdowns … Also added one score on the ground … Mingo’s total receiving yards and receiving yards per game both ranked seventh in the SEC … Set a new program record of 247 receiving yards against Vanderbilt, marking the highest single-game receiving total in the country for 2022 … Also came away with two scores on the day, connecting on 72 and 71-yard touchdown plays.

OLE MISS 2022 BIO: Earned third team All-SEC accolades from Pro Football Focus … Appeared in 12 contests with eight starts at running back … Finished the season with 936 rushing yards on 144 carries and nine touchdowns … Also hauled in 12 catches on the season for 119 yards and one TD … His 6.5 yards per carry led the SEC and ranked No. 10 nationally … Had a career-high 207 rushing yards on 17 total carries against Arkansas … Fourth time last season Evans eclipsed the 100-yard rushing mark in a game … Performance is the No. 12 single-game rushing total in Ole Miss history.
