Singer logged a prediction earlier this week for Murrieta (Calif.) Valley class of 2025 quarterback Bear Bachmeier to commit to Notre Dame, and the four-star passer is visiting South Bend this weekend. The guys discuss the 2025 quarterback recruiting situation and preview the prospects expected in town this weekend as well as discuss their road travels covering Notre Dame recruits.

As the Early Signing Period inches closer and teams try and put the finishing touches on their recruiting classes, On3’s fan site and national recruiting insiders give their take on where things stand and where they believe some of the top uncommitted prospects in the country will land.
In the On3 national article that published Wednesday morning, West Roxbury (Mass.) Catholic Memorial’s Guerby Lambert was among the elite prospects discussed.
Lambert, who ranks as the No. 53 overall player and No. 4 offensive tackle in America per the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking, took summer official visits to Boston College, Harvard, Notre Dame and Ohio State. The Fighting Irish lead for Lambert — who has been very quiet publicly about his decision timeline and who he’s leaning towards — according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) at a whopping 96.8 percent.

Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons — Notre Dame: “It seems like only a matter of time with Lambert. Notre Dame has been the top school for months favored to land him. There was talk about it happening in August, but we’re in the first half of September now. And it hasn’t happened. Boston College has been viewed as a pretty strong contender as a local program. But ND has been a pretty clear favorite. He’s a very quiet kid, doesn’t say a lot in the media, doesn’t have a big circle, but the buzz has been around Notre Dame.”
