Watch: Lucy Olsen & Syd Affolter talk win over Cyclones

Since arriving at Iowa, Lucy Olsen has seen the difference that Iowa’s fan support can make in a game. But, Wednesday night was at a different level for her and she noticed it. Olsen and Affolter helped Iowa rally from a ten point deficit late in the third quarter to pull away for a 75-69 win over Iowa State in the battle between in-state foes.

Following the victory, Olsen and Affolter met with the media to discuss the impact the fans had on this game, the adjustments that the Hawkeyes made in the fourth period and the encouragement that they received from the coaches that pushed them forward. Plus a whole lot more.
