WATCH: KSR Rapidly Reacts to Kentucky’s win over Team Africa

Three down, one more to go.
On Saturday afternoon at the GLOBL Jam Tournament in Toronto, Canada, Kentucky men’s basketball picked up another win, this time taking down Team Africa by a final score of 104-92. The Wildcats looked nearly unstoppable in the first half but slowed down in the second as Africa put the pressure on down the stretch.
But Kentucky’s talent was too much for Team Africa to overcome. Antonio Reeves led the way with a team-high 27 points on eight made three-pointers while freshmen DJ Wagner and Reed Sheppard both chipped in 18 points a piece. Fellow freshman Justin Edwards wasn’t too far behind with 15 points, five rebounds, and three steals.
Up next for the ‘Cats is the gold medal game on Sunday night. They’ll take on the winner of Team Canada and Team Germany, which will face off on Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. EST. But before we look ahead to the final contest of the week, let’s recap what went down against Africa.
