WATCH: Barion Brown mic’d up is perfect Friday viewing
Over the past month, the Kentucky Wildcats TV team mic’d up players and coaches to give us a behind-the-scenes look at spring practice. All of the videos have been great, but the one we’ve been waiting for is finally here. This morning, UK released Barion Brown‘s mic’d up video, which shows the freshman phenom doing what he does best: making plays, teasing his teammates and coaches, and chatting up a storm.
In the two-and-a-half minute clip, Brown dances, goofs around with Liam Coen and Mark Stoops, and reveals that if he wasn’t a football player, he’d be a veterinarian (“I like dogs. Pits.”). He asks his fellow wideouts the same question. Dane Key said he’d be a baseball player (Ryan Lemond loves this answer), while Tayvion Robinson said he’d probably coach.
The video’s light on highlights, but we do get a few, including Brown and the team celebrating a big catch by Dekel Crowdus.
If that didn’t quite scratch the football itch, check out the highlights from the open practices below and the other mic’d up segments this spring (Mark Stoops, Brad White, Liam Coen, Devin Leary, Dane Key, Vince Marrow, DB coach Chris Collins, ILB coach Mike Stoops, OL coach Zach Yenser, RB coach Jay Boulware).
