Washington State DL transfer David Gusta commits to Kentucky

Kentucky has landed one of the best available players from the transfer portal.

On Saturday night, Washington State defensive lineman transfer David Gusta told On3’s Hayes Fawcett that he has committed to the Wildcats. Gusta is ranked as the No. 2 defensive lineman in the portal and the top available prospect at his position. He is currently in Lexington on an official visit.

The 6-foot-3, 302-pound Gusta recorded 21 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack, and three pass breakups this past season for the Cougars. Texas A&M and Tennessee were also in the mix for the native of California. The redshirt senior has one year of eligibility remaining.
