During his Florida State career from 2011-15, defensive tackle Nile Lawrence-Stample got to play under three different FSU defensive coordinators: Mark Stoops, Jeremy Pruitt and Charles Kelly.
Of course that 2013 team, with Pruitt running the defense, claimed a national championship and produced a slew of NFL Draft picks. But the defenses under Stoops and Kelly were very good as well.
In this conversation with Warchant’s Tom Lang, Lawrence-Stample reflects on what each of those coordinators brought to the Florida State defense, and what he seems from current Florida State coordinator Adam Fuller.
