Aiken (S.C.) Aiken High School wide receiver Braylon Staley got a more in-depth look at Tennessee this weekend during his official visit. Following the time in Knoxville, the four-star pass-catcher detailed the trip, time spent with Kelsey Pope and the Tennessee staff, plus much more with Volquest. 

“I found a great place,” Staley said. “They really stood out of my top three schools.

“They kept everything a family deal. I really loved it here.

“I really love coach Heupel. He’s a chill guy. He’s going to be 100 with you. He has a great personality.”

Staley said he plays to be a mid-term enrollee where ever he chooses. Tennessee’s message to him was clear.

“They were saying I could be in the backfield, in the slot, and outside,” Staley said. “They really just want to get me the ball.

Staley has seen Clemson and Miami this month on official visits, and he will end the month with an official visit to North Carolina next weekend. 

Staley is rated as the nation’s 131st overall prospect and 21st-best receiver, according to the On3 rankings. The On3 Industry Rankings have the Palmetto State standout as the 149th overall prospect and 27th-best receiver.
