The Tennessee baseball team thanks to an incredible performance from Chase Burns again fought off elimination as they did in the regional and the super regional with another come from behind win over Stanford to face LSU Tuesday night in another College World Series elimination game. First pitch is set for 7pm. est.

Austin Price’s thoughts on the impact of Boo Carter‘s commitment…

“A big get. Boo is one that is a catalyst for other recruits. It doesn’t mean that everybody is going to go ‘Boo’s there and I’m just going to fall in line’. That’s not how it works, but prospects gravitate towards him. Again his name is Boo and there’s a certain cache, certain swag that he carries himself with…Kids love him. I think he has an impact. It doesn’t mean kids are going to just fall in line and commit because Boo did. But at the same time there’s a certain magnetism with him to other players that gets them interested in Tennessee. He will be here this weekend for his OV and having him around Mike Matthews, Amari Jefferson and all the other players who are going to be in town is a big deal.”
