Vanderbilt guard Alex Hemenway enters NCAA transfer portal

Vanderbilt guard Alex Hemenway has entered the NCAA transfer portal, per On3’s Pete Nakos. He spent just one season with the Commodores after transferring in from Clemson this past offseason.

Hemenway did not appear in any games at Vanderbilt this past year to maintain one year of eligibility. Prior to that he spent four years with the Tigers, most recently playing five games in 2023-24 before suffering a season-ending injury.
