Utah State forward Nigel Burris enters NCAA transfer portal

Utah State sophomore and former Idaho player Nigel Burris has entered the transfer portal, according to On3.

Burris had a remarkably efficient freshman campaign in a secondary role for the Vandals as a freshman in 2022-23, averaging eight points and five rebounds while shooting above 40% from 3 en route to winning Big Sky Rookie of the Year. At USU, though, he averaged just 1.1 points per game in 20 appearances.
