USC sitting 3rd in country for Top-100 prospects with five

USC had an absolutely incredible month of June on the recruiting trail, one that saw the Trojans rise into the top-5 ranks in the 2024 On3 Industry Recruiting Rankings. USC reeled in 13 commits during June, and was tabbed as the No. 2 recruiting winners of the month by On3.

Obviously being a top-5 ranked class, there were some highly touted prospects to join this class. A good way to judge how elite a class may be is looking at the number of Top-100 prospects a class holds.

As it stands right now, USC is third in the country, holding commitments from 5 (five) Top-100 prospects. Only Georgia (8) and Ohio State (6) have more. Florida is tied for third with USC with five of their own.

Here are the five Top-100 prospects USC holds commitments from and where they rank:

1. CB Marcelles Williams

The Bellflower (Cal.) St. John Bosco cornerback prospect is ranked as the No. 72 overall prospect in the 2024 class. He is also tabbed as the No. 9 cornerback.

He measures in at 6-foot-1, 165 pounds.

2. WR Xavier Jordan

The Los Angeles (Cal.) Sierra Canyon wide receiver prospect is ranked as the No. 86 overall prospect in the 2024 class. He is also tabbed as the No. 15 wide receiver.

He measures in at 6-foot, 160 pounds.

3. WR Ryan Pellum

The Long Beach (Cal.) Millikan wide receiver prospect is ranked as the No. 93 overall prospect in the 2024 class. He is also tabbed as the No. 16 wide receiver.

He measures in at 5-foot-11, 169 pounds.

4. CB Dakoda Fields

The Gardena (Cal.) Junipero Serra cornerback prospect is ranked as the No. 97 overall prospect in the 2024 class. He is also tabbed as the No. 13 cornerback.

He measures in at 6-foot-1.5, 177 pounds.

5. IOL Jason Zandamela

The Clearwater (Fla.) International Academy interior offensive line prospect is ranked as the No. 99 overall prospect in the 2024 class. He is also tabbed as the No. 5 interior offensive line prospect.

He measures in at 6-foot-2.5, 286 pounds.
