USC RB A’Marion Peterson plans to enter NCAA transfer portal

USC running back A’Marion Peterson plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, per 247’s Mike Roach. He will have three years of eligibility remaining to play at his next destination.
Peterson was a redshirt freshman during the 2024 season. He finished the year with 16 rushes for 65 yards and one touchdown. He’s appeared in four games for the Trojans during his two years with the program.
The most productive game of his career was his most recent. Appearing in the Las Vegas Bowl against Texas A&M, Peterson recorded 12 rushes for 43 yards during a 35-31 victory. The lone touchdown of his college career to this point came this past season against Utah State.
Before college, Peterson was a four-star recruit, according to the On3 Industry Rankings, which is a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services. He was the No. 387 overall recruit in the 2023 recruiting class, as well as the No. 27 running back in that cycle.
