USC QB Jake Jensen entering NCAA Transfer Portal

USC QB Jake Jensen entering NCAA Transfer Portal

USC Trojans quarterback Jake Jensen is entering the NCAA Transfer Portal, he announced via social media on Wednesday.

“I will be entering the Transfer Portal with 1 year of eligibility,” Jensen posted on X. “Thank you to Lincoln Riley, Luke Huard, Kliff Kingsbury and the rest of the coaching staff that all had a significant impact on me. I am forever grateful for my time at USC!”

Jake Jensen is a former walkon who played high school football at Pleasant Grove (UT). He was not rated as a prospect, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Over his time in Los Angeles, Jake Jensen never attempted a pass for the Trojans. Perhaps he’ll find a spot where he can thrive after spending some time in the portal this offseason.

More on Jake Jensen, USC QB situation

Jake Jensen became the latest USC quarterback to enter the transfer portal on Wednesday, as redshirt junior Miller Moss revealed his plans to enter after four seasons with the Trojans earlier this week via Pete Thamel.

Moss played sparingly in his first two years in Los Angeles before appearing in seven games in 2023, including a breakout performance in the Holiday Bowl where he threw six touchdown passes. He took over the starting role in 2024 after Caleb Williams‘ departure for the NFL, but had an up-and-down campaign before being benched after nine games in favor of transfer Jayden Maiava

In the 21 games he appeared in, Moss completed 66 percent of his passes while throwing for just under 3,500 yards, 27 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
