USC makes top-10 for elite 2025 EDGE Zion Grady
2025 Troy (Ala.) Charles Henderson elite four-star EDGE Zion Grady took a big step in his recruitment on Sunday as he released a top-10 list.
Grady ranks as the No. 15 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 2 EDGE and the No. 3 player in the state of Alabama.
The list is a star-studded one as USC, Alabama, Georgia, FSU, Tennessee, Auburn, Oregon, Michigan, Texas, and Louisville all cracked the list.
In a interview with Hayes Fawcett, Grady said “USC has been one of my favorite schools growing up. They have so much legacy and I would love to learn more.”
To this point, Grady has kept his recruitment local to the southern region as he has only visited Auburn, Alabama, Florida State, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Georgia.
Expect that to change though as he is looking to explore team across the country such as USC and Oregon.
Grady is a production machine
As only a sophomore, Grady put up video game numbers. He finished the season with 108 total tackles, a whopping 22 sacks, 37 tackles for loss, and 27 quarterback hurries. He also put three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and three blocked field goals in the stat sheet.

The 6-foot-4, 210-pound recruit holds 18 total offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Auburn Tigers have a narrow lead for his commitment at 38.3%. Alabama comes in at second with 33.5%.
RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Grady has an On3 NIL Valuation of $138K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
