USC Injury Report: Trojans’ availability against Washington
The Big Ten injury report is out as the USC Trojans are set to kick off against the Washington Huskies. Here’s a look at the players listed as out and questionable and what it means for both programs.

Clifton left the game against Rutgers after just five plays. Head coach Lincoln Riley said early this week that there was a chance they could have him available this week. He’d be a loss up front against a big Washington running back in Jonah Coleman. But the Trojans have gotten solid play there recently from Gavin Meyer and Devan Thompkins.
All the defensive backs will be worth watching today. Greedy Vance Jr. was out early for warmups and was moving like he will play in this one. The USC secondary was stressed against Rutgers when all four starters — Covington, Smith, Vance Jr. and Ramsey — sat out due to injury. The Trojans probably need a couple back in this one to feel better about matching up against a much better passing game this week.

Thoughts on players listed
Durfee is a big loss as he continues to deal with turf toe on both feet. He’s tied for second on the team with 2.5 sacks this season and is arguably the team’s best pass rusher. Left tackle Max McRee isn’t on the injury report and that would be a big addition for Washington. Head coach Jedd Fisch said earlier this week he thought McRee could miss another game due to a hand injury. It’ll be worth watching him at left tackle if he’s back on the field for this game.
