USC adds to lead for Top-100 WR Xavier Jordan in On3 RPM
Following an update earlier today, USC has added to their already momentous lead to land a commitment from Los Angeles (Calif.) Sierra Canyon four-star wide receiver Xavier Jordan, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction.
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), the Trojans have a 97.6 percent chance of securing his commitment.
Prior to today, the Trojans were favored to land the talented local product thanks to an On3 Prediction in favor of the Trojans from On3’s Sam Spiegelman. The rise in the odds today came from a brand new On3 Prediction from WeAreSC’s Scott Schrader. He logged it at a 65% confidence interval.
It is important to note Jordan currently has only one official visit schedule, USC, set for June 17. He has unofficially visited the Trojans on two previous occasions in 2023.
Where Jordan ranks in the 2024 class
Jordan is the No. 100 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 18 wide receiver and the No. 12 recruit in California.
On3 is higher on him than other services though, tabbing him as the No. 72 prospect nationally, No. 11 wideout and No. 5 player from California in the most recent On300 rankings.
Impressive Offer List
Jordan already has offers from USC, Arizona, Ohio State., Georgia, Michigan State, Colorado, Boston College, Cal, Colorado St., Georgia, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Tennessee, Penn St., Oklahoma, Washington St., Utah, Syracuse, UNLV, San Jose St. and Hawaii.
April 8 USC visit
“The visit was tremendous,” Jordan said after that visit. “It was an incredible visit, the stadium is amazing and the one-on-one time was magnificent. And me being from southern California just made everything a plus. So, the whole get down was amazing.”
Jordan on HC Lincoln Riley
“He took USC from zero to 100 really fast,” Jordan said. “They finish 11-3 and had a Heisman Trophy winner in his first year. Nobody was expecting that. Then Coach Riley has that great energy. I’d have no problem getting fired up to play for him.
“With his receivers and offense, it’s like, how do you stop them? He’s the quarterbacks coach, offensive coordinator, he calls the plays and he’s the head coach. So, he’s involved and that’s exactly what you want from a head coach.”
