Updated Florida Gators scholarship chart after latest roster moves

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Florida was one spot above the 85-man scholarship limit coming into the spring transfer portal window. UF is now one spot below the limit after some roster moves.

Two players, redshirt senior linebacker Mannie Nunnery and redshirt junior cornerback Ethan Pouncey, have entered the transfer portal, while redshirt senior offensive lineman Riley Simonds will forgo his final year of eligibility to become a student assistant coach.

The Gators have signed offensive tackle commit Enoch Wangoy, who reclassified from 2025 to 2024, and added Air Force tight end Caleb Rillos to the roster as a preferred walk-on.

With three more signees enrolling this summer, Florida currently has 84 scholarships allotted for 2024. The staff has targeted at least two more transfers at positions of need: receiver and guard.

Interior offensive lineman Jason Zandamela, a USC transfer, will soon decide between UF and UCF after visiting both schools this past week. Florida also has interest in Arizona State WR transfer Elijhah Badger.

The 15-day spring window for players to enter the portal closes April 30. The Gators signed 10 transfers during the portal period in December and January.

Here is Florida’s current scholarship chart. At this time, the Gators have 18 seniors, 20 juniors, 19 sophomores and 27 freshmen for 2024.
