UCLA guard Dominick Harris enters NCAA transfer portal

UCLA guard Dominick Harris has entered the NCAA transfer portal, per On3’s Jamie Shaw. Harris also played for Gonzaga and Loyola Marymount throughout his college basketball career.
Harris’s decision to enter the portal comes one day after forward Aday Mara announced his intention. Sebastian Mack, William Kyle and Devin Williams are some other names from this past season’s Bruins roster to enter their name into the portal since UCLA’s NCAA Tournament exit in the Round of 32.
The Bruins finished this past season 23-11 overall. UCLA’s season ended over the weekend during a 67-58 loss to Tennessee during the NCAA Tournament’s Round of 32.
This past season, Harris played in 11 games for the Bruins. After averaging 14.3 points per game as a junior at Loyola Marymount, he averaged just 1.1 points, 0.6. rebounds and 0.1 assists during his time playing for UCLA.
He began his career playing for Mark Few and Gonzaga, however. Harris played in 38 games for the Bulldogs across two seasons but never cracked the starting lineup.
Before college, Harris was a highly-touted four-star recruit coming out of the high school ranks, According to the On3 Industry Rankings, which is a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services, he was the No. 65 overall player in his cycle, and No. 7 combo guard.
As of Wednesday, March 26, over 1,250 Men’s College Basketball players have entered the NCAA Transfer Portal. That number is expected to grow as the 2024-25 college basketball season nears its end.

UCLA transfer point guard Dylan Andrews signs with Boise State
UCLA transfer guard Dylan Andrews has officially signed with the Boise State Broncos on Wednesday evening, On3’s Pete Nakos has learned. The former four-star has averaged 6.9 points and 3.4 assists per game.
Andrews played three seasons for Mick Cronin at UCLA. As a sophomore, he averaged career-highs across the board with 12.9 points, 3.7 assists and 2.2 rebounds per game. He’s started in 61 of the last 64 games he’s appeared in for the Bruins.
