Tyler Reddick spins out on pit road after losing wheel during Ally 400

Tyler Reddick spins out on pit road after losing wheel during Ally 400

After leading for 33 laps and running P2 for a while, Tyler Reddick lost a wheel after Stage 2 pit stops and spun out on pit road. Reddick almost managed to get it back to pit road after a loose wheel was put on his No. 45 The BIG 615/Moneylion Toyota Camry. However, it was too late and the NASCAR driver lost control of his car as his wheel rolled away.

It is a tough pill to swallow when you are running so well, win Stage 1, and then you have a mistake like this. The good news is that Tyler Reddick seemed to save his car amid the spin. He didn’t make contact with any walls, at the very least.

With Michael Jordan watching from the pit box, Reddick was putting on a show. He unfortunately will have to work his way through the field now, two laps down, and hope for the best. Something tells me this caution won’t be the last.

Tyler Reddick is a great driver. He can come back from this setback, but he’ll need some help. Not just cautions, but he needs help from his pit crew as well. What you don’t want when you’re running P2, is to have a pit issue like this. It just sets everything back.
