Opening Day is a special occasion in the sports world. Baseball is finally back after a long offseason, marking the beginning of a long year through the World Series in October. Fans across the continent are happy to have Opening Day here but not as much as Tyler O’Neill.
Entering Thursday, O’Neill had hit an Opening Day home run in five consecutive years. The streak has been extended to six with a three-run home run for Baltimore against Toronto.
