Ty Majeski damages SAFER barrier, causes red flag during Rockingham Truck Series race

The SAFER barrier at Rockingham has been damaged after Ty Majeski took a hard hit into the wall out of Turn 1 and into 2. Today was likely not going to be a winning day for Majeski, but the NASCAR driver didn’t expect to be wrecked like this.

When you start to slide up that Rockingham track, it’s hard to get back down. ThorSport has had a difficult day. Ben Rhodes had power steering issues, Matt Crafton and electrical fire. Jake Garcia winning the pole and running in the top-five is the bright spot today.

Layne Riggs and Chandler Smith look like they are going to fight it out to the end. Front Row has two hot rods out there on the track. Daniel Hemric and Rajah Caruth have started to make moves to the front as well.

Huge hit for Ty Majeski. Safety crews are repairing the SAFER barrier as we speak. Red flag at The Rock.
