Two more RPM picks logged as Penn State wraps up another official visit weekend

Penn State’s coaches will wrap up another busy weekend on the recruiting trail late Sunday morning. With 20 total official visitors on campus, the Nittany Lion coaches and support staff have been busy since Friday with the hope that their efforts will result in a few more commitments. It sounds as if that hard work is going to pay off for James Franklin and his team.

Just yesterday I logged a new pick for Penn State to land Philadelphia edge rusher Mylachi Williams. The four-star prospect appears to be firmly leaning toward the Lions coming out of this weekend, but he’s not the only one. After checking in with sources early Sunday, I’ve logged two more RPM picks for New Jersey safety Vaboue Toure and Michigan wide receiver Nick Marsh.

Toure, who stands at 6-foot, 188 pounds, has long been considered a Penn State lean. A native of Irvington, N.J., Toure earned an offer from the Lions in March 2022. He’s visited on three previous occasions leading up to this weekend’s official visit. Toure does have two more official visits planned to Oklahoma and Kentucky. Alabama, Florida State, LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon and USC are a few of the top schools who have offered.

As for Marsh, he’s arguably Penn State’s top wide receiver target in the 2024 class. The Nittany Lions offered back in May 2021. He then committed to Michigan State last July, only to open up his recruitment again back in March.

Since then, Marsh has repeatedly made it clear that no school has recruited him harder. In addition to Penn State, he included Kansas, Michigan State Pitt and Oregon in his top five.
