Tua Tagovailoa injury update: Latest on status of Dolphins QB after leaving game vs. Bills
Tua Tagovailoa had to leave Thursday’s game against the Buffalo Bills after taking a hit in the third quarter. After all of the head injuries the Miami Dolphins quarterback has taken in his career, seeing him go down again was a scary moment.
An update has been provided on Tagovailoa by the team, announcing he has been ruled out for the rest of the game with a concussion. Skylar Thompson is now in at quarterback as the Dolphins look to fight back against their AFC East rivals.
“Injury Update | Tua Tagovailoa has been ruled out with a concussion,” the official Miami Dolphins X account said.
Sideline reporter Kaylee Hartung provided more information shortly after Miami’s statement, saying it did not too long for them to rule Tagovailoa out.

“The Dolphins tell us Tua Tagovailoa will not return to this game,” Hartung said. “He has been ruled out with a concussion. They were able to determine that just six minutes after he left the field and went into the locker room.”
