Trevor Etienne injury update: Kirby Smart gives promising news on Georgia RB status
Georgia had to spend most of its win over Florida without running back Trevor Etienne. A rib injury knocked him out of the game, instantly putting his status moving forward in question. And with the Bulldogs having a massive showdown against Ole Miss upcoming, Etienne will be needed.
An update was provided on Etienne by head coach Kirby Smart on Tuesday, providing promising news. While a black non-contact jersey is being worn, Smart repeatedly said he feels good about where Etienne stands.
“Etienne I feel good about,” Smart said via Seth Emerson of The Athletic. “He felt good yesterday and did some things yesterday with our guys. … The trainer feels good about him.”
