Top-50 Texas WR Andrew Marsh Shares Why He’ll Visit USC Again
Top 50 Wide Receiver Andrew Marsh took a two-day USC this past Friday and Saturday (April 7-8). It was the No. 24 overall player in the On300 for the 2025 class’s first time visiting the Trojans’ campus after stops at Texas, Oklahoma, Oregon and also LSU.
The elite wide receiver from Fulshear (Texas) Katy Jordan High School, was anxious to get a closer look at the ins and outs of USC’s football program and spend time around the coaches.
“Really just getting out to meet the staff, meet the coaches and see how they handle things up there and see how they do things over,” Marsh told On3 National Analyst Sam Spiegelman last week.
“I’m just trying to see the people there, see how everyone interacts and gets along, see the campus and learn more about the offense from up close,” he added.
Impact of first USC visit
The first question we ask after a top prospect takes their first unofficial visit to USC is, do you plan to get back at some point? We checked in with Marsh tonight about possible future USC visit plans.
“Absolutely,” Marsh told WeAreSC.
We followed that up by asking why he intends to come head back to Los Angeles for another USC visit?
“What’s not to like,” he said. “Great visit, coaches and atmosphere. To top it off, I got a chance to experience it with my family. I like the whole vibe my family and I got hanging out with the coaches and their families. My mom and sisters said they we very welcoming to them plus my nieces had fun with their kids.
“On Friday we had a chance to see the campus. I was very surprised everything was so close and in its own village. Sitting with the coaches and discussing plays was good. Then we met with Coach (Lincoln) Riley and he was so easy to talk to. We laughed a lot and talked sports of course. So yes, it was a very good visit. I will be back.”

Top programs are hoping to land Marsh
Marsh detailed a few of his early favorites with On3’s Sam Spiegelman on Jan. 10. They included Texas, Oklahoma, Oregon and LSU.
LSU: “The coaching staff, the facilities, the campus and the environment as a whole is welcoming. It feels like you’re a part of the family right away. I was at the LSU-Alabamagame, so that game was… I don’t know how to put it in words. We stormed the field. We went in the locker room after the game, it was great.”
Oklahoma: “It feels like family and I love the environment. I stay in contact with those guys pretty well and I’ve been up there a few times. It’s a beautiful campus. I love how they play as a team, the environment with the fans, and I really like their play style.”
Oregon: “Everybody knows that Oregon has the facilities, the gears, but deeper than that, they’re really personable, they stay in contact well and they really welcomed me in.”
Texas: “I’ve been staying in contact with them and I’ve been up there on campus for a few visits, a few junior days and it’s not hard to get up there to see those guys. They had a pretty good season. A few things they could’ve done here and there, but overall a good season.”
Marsh returned to Austin (TX) on March 25 for an unofficial Texas visit. He told Eric Nahlin of Inside Texas that in addition to USC, he hoped to take some of his unofficial visits to Auburn, Houston, LSU, Nebraska and Oklahoma later this spring and in the summer.
