Top 100 WR Talyn Taylor talks recent Michigan offer, spring game visit

Michigan has been throwing out offers to some of the best wide receiver prospects in the 2025 recruiting class this offseason, including Talyn Taylor.
The Top 100 pass catcher from Geneva (Ill.) Community notched his U-M scholarship in late March. Now, the Wolverines have his full attention.
“I like Michigan a lot,” Taylor said. “I was excited when I got that offer. Michigan is a great school. They are Top 5 in the country in football and academics. I just like Michigan a lot.”
Just a week after picking up the offer, Taylor made his way to Ann Arbor for the annual spring game and enjoyed his time in The Big House.
“It was a great visit,” Taylor said. “They had great energy. I liked that they were passing the ball a lot during the game. I like the offense. I got to see the football facilities and the field. I didn’t really get to see the campus, so when I go back, I’d like to get more of a look at everything.”
The visit also allowed Taylor to get some time in with Michigan wide receivers coach Ron Bellamy, who is making him an early priority.
“I like Coach Bellamy,” Taylor said. “We have a good relationship. We’ve been constantly talking. He’s talked to me about my process getting started. He told me to stay humble and levelheaded.”
Michigan has recruited extremely well in Chicagoland over the last few cycles. One of the biggest wins in the area was former On300 wide receiver recruit Tyler Morris, who is already recruiting Taylor to U-M.
“I’m a friend of his little brother, Quinn,” Taylor said. “So I’ve been able to talk to Tyler. He said he likes Michigan a lot. He said they are a great program and that he hopes that I go there.”
Along with Michigan, Taylor holds offers from Georgia, Iowa, Miami, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Wisconsin and others.
At 6-foot-1, 165 pounds, Taylor is ranked as the No. 10 wide receiver and No. 57 overall prospect nationally in 2025, per the On3 Industry Ranking.
Taylor has an On3 NIL Valuation of $74K with 5.7K followers across all platforms. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
