Top-100 LB Noah Mikhail details interest in three top schools
La Verne (Calif.) Bonita four-star linebacker Noah Mikhail has seen his stock rise as one of the top prospects at his position in the 2025 cycle.
An explosive 6-foot-2, 210-pounder with a knack for lighting up ball-carriers, Mikhail has peaked the interest of many high-profile programs. So far, he’s locked in three official visits.
His June currently features trips to USC (June 7), Oregon (June 14) and Texas A&M (June 21). Those programs are setting the pace, but the likes of Alabama, Nebraska and Notre Dame have also had him on campus this spring.
Regardless of where Mikhail lands at the college level, he’s ready to push his chips to the middle and buy in to a program and a culture. On the field, he knows what he can provide, too.
“They’re getting the best linebacker. Straight up,” Mikhail said candidly on ‘The Five Star Flex’. “You’re getting the hardest worker, no one is out-working me. No one is going to be better than me.”
Mikhail is the No. 73 overall prospect and No. 6 LB in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 3 player in California.
Mikhail talks Trojans, Aggies and Ducks
As Mikhail continues to work through his recruitment, he discussed his interest in the three programs he’s currently set to officially visit this summer with On3’s Phillip Dukes.
USC: “Obviously, it’s close to home. Easy for the fam to get to. Coach (D’Anton) Lynn just came in, NFL-minded defensive coordinator, I know Matt Entz is a great coach, developed a lot of great players. I think between that NFL scheme, my ultimate goal is getting to the league, so being in that type of scheme helps a lot.”
Texas A&M: “Coach (Mike) Elko, he’s a defensive-minded head coach, which is huge. Coach (Jay) Bateman, he’s real smart, real great dude. You’re playing in the SEC. I mean, it doesn’t get much better than that. They’re changing that culture around, for real.”
Oregon: “Same thing, defensive-minded head coach, Coach (Dan) Lanning. He’s a great coach. Coach (Tosh) Lupoi, he was in the league for a little bit, they’ve got that NFL style to them. I like the competitiveness of Oregon. They’re always going to be good, they’re always going to be competing at the highest level.
