Top 100 DB Kaiden Hall excited about recent offer from Michigan
Michigan secondary coach LaMar Morgan spent his first few months in Ann Arbor focused on identifying targets for the current cycle.
However, Morgan has recently been dishing out offers to some of the top 2026 defensive back prospects in the country, including Top 100 Milton (Fla.) High safety Kaiden Hall.
“I was really happy to get an offer from Michigan,” Hall said. “It’s a great program, and they have been winning a lot. They are just coming off the national championship, so it’s an exciting offer. They have a great history and tradition. It really means a lot to have an offer from them.”
Hall is still getting to know Morgan but is looking forward to their relationship growing over the next year.
“I had a good talk with him when he gave me the offer,” Hall said. “He told me that he liked my length and that I could be a great fit in the secondary. He seemed like a great coach. I just want to talk to him more and keep building a relationship with him.”
At 6-foot-3, 175 pounds, Hall is a tall, athletic safety that also has the skillset to play some corner in Michigan’s defensive scheme.
Hall has been impressed with Michigan’s recent production on the back end and believes he could also make an impact in Ann Arbor.
“They had one of the best defenses in college football last year,” Hall said. “I was really impressed with the DBs. They came to play every week. I really enjoyed watching Will Johnson. I could see myself playing like him because we are both big and physical.”
Michigan has had recent success recruiting in the state of Florida and just picked up a commitment from Top 100 quarterback Brady Hart, who is set to lead the 2026 recruiting class. And that’s definitely catching Hall’s attention.
“It’s great to see them getting some guys out of Florida,” Hall said. “We have some great talent down here, and it’s cool to see some top guys going up there.”
The next step for Hall is making his first-ever visit to Michigan, which he hopes will happen soon.
“I’m trying to make it there before the summer ends,” Hall said. “If that doesn’t happen, I would like to be up there for a game. I just want to meet the coaches and build better relationships with all of them.”
Along with Michigan, Hall holds offers from Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma, Penn State, Tennessee and others.
Hall is ranked as the No. 8 safety and No. 86 overall prospect nationally, per the On3 Industry Ranking.
