Three-star EDGE Amontrae Bradford has Ole Miss among top schools

Statesboro (Ga.) EDGE Amontrae Bradford is starting to narrow his scope. On Thursday, he released his Top 8. Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Colorado, Mississippi State, Indiana, Virginia Tech and Ole Miss all made the cut for the 6-foot-5, 230 pound prospect.
According to On3’s Industry Ranking, Bradford is considered the No. 871 prospect in the 2024 class. He is also ranked as the No. 60 EDGE recruit and Georgia’s 102nd-ranked player.
He has one official set to Kentucky in September for its game against Eastern Kentucky. Bradford has also unofficially visited Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Virginia Tech, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida and Florida State.
Ole Miss’ defensive line class is headlined by two blue chip prospects from Mississippi.
Bay Springs (Miss.) defensive lineman Kamron Beavers and Pascagoula (Miss.) defensive lineman Jeffery Rush are the two highest-rated commits for Lane Kiffin. South Gibson (Tenn.) athlete Cameron Clark will most likely play EDGE at the next level and Bradford could seemingly fit right in next to him at Ole Miss.

As a junior, Bradford made 40 total tackles and added two sacks and one tackle for loss. He also competes in throwing events in track and field.
Bradford says a commitment is expected after he takes all his visits this summer and fall, per On3’s Zach Geoghegan.
“I’m looking for someone who is gonna recruit me for me,” Bradford said. “Not just as a football player but me as a person. Somebody I can bond with, talk to if I need to, things like that. That’s what’s really gonna get me. If you can sit down and have a conversation with me just about life, outside of football? That’s what I like.”
