The nation’s No. 4 RB Bo Jackson talks recent official visit to Georgia
Cleveland (Ohio) Villa Angela – St. Joseph High On300 running back Bo Jackson took his official visit to Georgia the weekend of May 17 and it was another terrific experience in Athens.
The Bulldogs are battling Alabama and Ohio State to ultimately sign the 6-foot, 210-pound Jackson.
“All of (Georgia) excites me,” Jackson told On3. Potential position coach Josh Crawford has been leading the Bulldogs efforts as of late in recruiting the four-star Jackson.
“Coach Crawford, Coach (Kirby) Smart, our relationship is great,” Jackson said. “The family atmosphere there is different in a good way. So much love from the entire staff..
“I was blown away by the entire trip.”
Jackson has been to Georgia a few times now including last month as well. He says there are “two main things” that stand out about his opportunity to play for the Bulldogs.
“How comfortable all the coaches are with each other and how much fun they have during downtime,” Jackson said.
“Their confidence that year in year out they will have the best o-line which is a running back’s best friend.”
Next up for Jackson is an official visit to Ohio State this weekend and then Alabama on June 7.
The On3 Industry ranks Jackson as the nation’s No. 4 running back and No. 74 prospect overall. He spoke highly of his spring experience at Georgia as well.
“Visit was great,” Jackson said. “Georgia practice was one of the most impressive practices I’ve seen. Just the energy from Coach Smart and how intense the scrimmage was. I love Coach Smart. I spent a lot of time with him and new running backs coach Coach Crawford. I’ve built a great relationship with since he has arrived.”
