The Masters weather update: Tournament shares latest ahead of Monday practice rounds

The Masters shared an update about the first practice round of the 2025 tournament. On Sunday evening, the Masters announced that the patron gates will not open as scheduled for Monday’s practice round because of incoming weather.

“Due to expected inclement weather and safety concerns, patron gates will not open as scheduled for Monday’s practice round,” the Masters said. “All patron parking lots will remain closed until further notice. No patrons should approach Augusta National Golf Club until more details are released. The next update will be provided by 8 a.m. (local time) Monday.
