The 12 Highest-Ranked Recruits at LSU’s Bayou Splash

With the LSU Bayou Splash recruiting event complete, the list of nearly 50 visitors was stacked with elite talent from the 2024, 2025 and 2026 classes.
But who were the highest-ranked recruits to make it into Baton Rouge?
Here are the 12 recruits at the Bayou Splash who currently rank inside the Top 100 of the On3 Industry Rankings.
LSU gets a dozen Top 100 prospects to campus
Bryce Underwood – 2025 – 5-star, No. 1 overall, No. 1 QB
The nation’s No. 1 overall prospect in the 2025 class is already a 5-star+ prospect, meaning all four major recruiting services have a five-star rating on him. Underwood has offers from teams around the country, but LSU and Michigan are considered the front runners. After getting Underwood on campus in June, LSU quarterbacks coach Joe Sloan was able to get a return visit from the family for the Bayou Splash.
Colin Simmons – 2024 – 5-star, No. 5 overall, No. 1 EDGE
The five-star prospect is the No. 1 EDGE rusher on the On3 rankings, and as he inches closer to a decision date, LSU was able to get Simmons back on campus for the Bayou Splash. And it was a multiple day stay for the Simmons family, marking the The Lone Star State five-star’s sixth visit to LSU’s campus. There are a number of teams still pushing to land Simmons, but this one appears to be an LSU vs. Texas battle at the moment.
Dakorien Moore – 2025 – 5-star, No. 10 overall, No. 2 WR
Another Duncanville five-star that made the trip to Baton Rouge was Moore, who is a Top 10 overall prospect and the No. 2 wide receiver in the 2025 class. Moore has visited Texas more than any other program, but he’s now made two trips to LSU’s campus since April. Ahead of Moore’s junior season, the Tigers are making a big push for the five-star.
Andrew Marsh – 2025 – 4-star, No. 16 overall, No. 5 WR
Marsh joined Moore in giving the Tigers a pair of 2025’s Top 10 wide receivers in for the Bayou Splash. The Texas four-star has made four recruiting visits to a trio of schools in LSU, Texas and Oklahoma, and all three teams are neck-and-neck on the On3 RPM.
Harlem Berry – 2025 – 4-star, No. 19 overall, No. 1 RB
The No. 1 overall running back in America for the 2025 class resides in Louisiana, and Berry was back at LSU after camping with the Tigers in June. LSU running backs coach Frank Wilson has already put the Tigers in a good position with the Bayou State’s top-ranked prospect as college offers roll in from coast-to-coast.
Dominick McKinley – 2024 – 5-star, No. 23 overall, No. 5 DL
While Berry is the No. 1 prospect in Louisiana for the 2025 class, it’s McKinley who holds the top spot in the current 2024 class. After making four official visits to out-of-state programs in June, McKinley wrapped up his summer with a trip to LSU for the Bayou Splash. As the Tigers work to gain some momentum coming off the weekend visit, all eyes are on whether or not McKinley sets a decision date for before his senior season at Acadiana High.
Jaboree Antoine – 2025 – 4-star, No. 25 overall, No. 3 CB
The No. 2 prospect in Louisiana’s 2025 class is Antoine, who is the No. 3 cornerback prospect on the On3 Industry Rankings. The Westgate High standout visited LSU on Friday, then Texas A&M on Saturday. Expect the New Iberia rising junior to be one of the state’s most-heavily recruited prospects in next year’s cycle.
Anguon Fegans – 2025 – 4-star, No. 30 overall, No. 2 S
The current Southern Cal commitment made his way to Baton Rouge Friday for the Bayou Splash, telling The Bengal Tiger staff that his trip “was amazing”. Fegans, an Alabama native, committed to USC soon after his brother, Tre’Quon Fegans, announced his transfer from Alabama to the Trojans in May. The Thompson High rising junior is the nation’s No. 2 safety prospect.
Naeshun Montgomery – 2025 – 4-star WR, No. 70 overall, No. 12 WR
Montgomery made the trip from Florida to Louisiana for LSU’s Bayou Splash, which comes after the four-star took a trip to campus in March. Florida and Southern Cal are two other programs that landed multiple campus visits this year, while Miami holds the early lead on the On3 RPM for the West Palm Beach standout.
Trey’Dez Green – 2024 – 4-star TE, No. 72 overall, No. 6 TE
The LSU commitment was back in Baton Rouge for another campus visit, and Green has remained locked in on his verbal pledge to the Tigers. He’s one of Louisiana’s top three prospects, and he enters his senior season as the No. 6 tight end prospect in America.
Jacorey Watson – 2025 – 4-star WR, No. 90 overall, No. 14 WR
LSU and Texas are running neck-and-neck on the On3 RPM for the Shadow Creek standout, and both programs have landed five campus visits since his recruiting process began. Watson has not set a decision date, but it appears this will be another battle between the Tigers and Longhorns for a Lone Star State prospect.
Cai Bates – 2024 – 4-star CB, No. 92 overall, No. 12 CB
Bates committed to LSU this past week, then immediately made his way to Baton Rouge for LSU’s Bayou Splash. The four-star is a key piece to an impressive LSU cornerback room that also includes commitments from Ondre Evans, Ju’Juan Johnson and Wallace Foster.
