Texas three-star 2024 DB William Nettles commits to Purdue

Purdue has landed a commitment from Texas three-star 2024 defensive back William “Speedy” Nettles, who took an official visit to West Lafayette in June. He is the Boilermakers’ 19th commitment in the Class of 2024 and second in July.

The 6-1, 175-pound product of Dallas (Texas) Christian School chose Purdue among a final top three that also included Nebraska and SMU.

Nettles is the sixth defensive back in Purdue’s 2024 class, joining Earl Kulp, Hudauri Hines, Jo’Ziah Edmond, D’Mon Marable and Luke Williams. Koy Beasley also could play defensive back.
