Texas Tech announces Patrick Mahomes II donates $5 million to finish historic facilities upgrade 

Patrick Mahomes is giving back to the program that helped turn him into the football player he is today. Mahomes and his wife Brittany have donated $5 million to Texas Tech University to help with upgrades to Jones AT&T Stadium.

Per a release, the $5 million will go towards the $242 million South End Zone and Dustin R. Womble Football Center project.

The $5 million that Patrick Mahomes and his wife are donating marks the final gift for the historic Campaign for Fearless Champions.
