Texas Talent ‘Flocking’ to Oregon

Oregon is set to have a a massive group of visitors on campus mid week. With the help of assistant Antonio Parks and others on staff, the Ducks will have some of the best talent from the 2024 and 2025 class on campus today (Tuesday) and tomorrow. (Wednesday)
Let’s take a look at some of the names expected on Oregon’s campus in the next 24 hours.
2024
EDGE Colin Simmons
QB Ryder Hayes (walk on)
2025
Jhop’s Take:
This is an amazing group for the Ducks to not only get on campus, but get on campus together. This took a lot of planning and a lot of work to pull off. As you can see several are from Duncanville high school headlined by the 5-Stars. Both Colin Simmons (2024) and Dakorien Moore (2025) are five-stars in their respective classes.
Ashton Bethel-Roman is a real nice surprise given the Pellum news I posted earlier. The 6-foot, 160-pounder is the No. 99 ranked player and No. 17 wide receiver in the country per the On3 Industry Rankings. For reference, he’s 1 spot behind Ryan Pellum in the wide receiver rankings and 7 total spots lower in the national rankings. (99 vs 92)
As you’ll recall, I made a prediction for 2024 DB Chris Johnson earlier in favor of Oregon. Which should he make a commitment with some of the Texas talent also on campus, that could be a nice boost for the Ducks.
This is quite the development for the Ducks and we’ll have more on these visitors following their visits.
