Texas Longhorns Recruiting Intel: Latest from top prospects on the road

Inside Texas was back on the road Wednesday, checking in on the top targets from 2025 and 2026 plus a 2027 prospect on the radar. Here’s the latest intel from the road.

Tradarian Ball, RB, Texarkana (Texas) Texas High – 2026

IT checked in at Texas High to see top 50 prospect and priority UT target Tradarian Ball and the Tigers.

Ball continues to get closer to Texas RB coach Tashard Choice, who came by Texas High last week to see Ball. He will take an unofficial to Austin in June 1st.

Oregon, Miami, TCU, Arkansas, and Missouri have been by lately to check in on the four-star tailback.

But the Horns remain the team to beat here.

Lance Jackson, EDGE, Texarkana (Texas) Pleasant Grove – #AllGasNoBrakes

The 6-foot-6, 250-pound four-star is almost completely healed from a collarbone injury he suffered two months ago.

It took away his baseball, but Jackson has stayed vigilant in football workouts. He’s building up for his last season at PG before he enrolls early in Austin in January.

Jackson will be at the On3 Elite Series in Nashville at the end of the month.

Jaivion Martin, TE, Pflugerville (Texas) – 2026

Martin is on the Texas radar.

The 6-foot-2.5, 225-pounder holds a North Texas offer, but that offer list will grow.

He attended Texas’ Spring game last month.

“The game was good,” Martin told Inside Texas. “A lot of plays I seen at the practices I went to was fast tempo, and I like it. The atmosphere I feel like I can see myself in it, lots of fans came out to support pretty loud but hearing that on the field is the goal and the best.”

Texas TE coach Jeff Banks will be by the school next week.

Qua Ford, OT, Texarkana (Texas) Texas High – 2027

Dude Alert for the 6-foot-5, 285-pound freshman left tackle.

Dude Alert: 2027 @THighFootball OT Qua Ford is that dude.

At 6’5, 285 pounds, already holds offers from Oregon, Arkansas, and Tennessee among others. #bEASTtexas @InsideTexas @On3Recruits pic.twitter.com/mTqKdF2UmF

Ford already holds a number of early offers including Oregon, Tennessee, and Arkansas, and this guy hasn’t even scratched the surface of his potential. He’s a 40-offer type prospect and he loves Texas. He’s hoping to get to Austin in June for camp.
