Texas Longhorns Official Visitor Weekend List (June 7-9)
Texas begins hosting its first official visit weekend for the Class of 2025 starting on Friday. From a pair of UT commits to some important defensive line targets, Steve Sarkisian and his staff are ready. Dive in.
JUNE 7-9 OFFICIAL VISITORS
Kaleb Edwards, TE, El Dorado Hills (Calif.) Oak Ridge
The 6-foot-6, 235-pound four-star and On3’s No. 9 player in California will hit the Forty Acres this weekend. Edwards has six programs squarely in the mix: Texas, Alabama, Auburn, Oregon, UCLA, and Washington.
He tripped to UCLA for an OV on May 10th-12th, then Washington last weekend. Austin is up next.
He’ll be at Auburn on June 11th and Alabama on June 17th. He’ll finish his official visits with a trip to Eugene with the Ducks on June 21st.
He’s really fond of Jeff Banks and Steve Sarkisian, both California natives, and how the UT staff is prioritizing the West Coast. He’s still looking at an announcement decision in July.
Jordan Coleman, OL, Cedar Hill (Texas) – #AllGasNoBrakes
The dynamic offensive line duo are returning to the Forty Acres this weekend. The first trip back to Austin since committing to the Longhorns with his brother, Devin, last month.

Josiah Sharma, DL, Sacramento (Calif.) Folsom
At almost 6-foot-4, 320 pounds, On3’s No. 7-rated interior defender is hitting Austin again. This’ll likely come down to Texas, Alabama, and Oregon, with the Crimson Tide holding the edge.
Sharma was committed to Kalen DeBoer while at Washington and there’s a great relationship there that could carry over to Tuscaloosa. Sharma just visited Oregon and has an official visit to Eugene on June 14-16. Then he’ll see Alabama officially on June 21-23.
Major target at a major need position. This will require more major work.
Myron Charles, Port Charlotte (Fla.)
On3’s No. 4-rated defensive lineman will return to Austin this weekend for his official visit.
The contenders: Texas, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Georgia, and Ohio State. He has official visits set for Texas (June 7), Miami (June 14), and Florida State (June 21).
FSU holds a commanding lead in the chase to land him a 91.5 percent, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), which includes On3 VP of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong, as well as Florida State recruiting insiders Michael Langston and Matt LaSerre, who all logged picks in favor of Florida State landing the highly-sought in-state defender.
Javion Hilson, EDGE, Cocoa (Fla.) – Florida State commit
The former Alabama pledge, current Florida State commit, and the On3 Industry Ranking No. 4 EDGE has set an official to Austin. He’s certainly keeping his options open and those options include the Longhorns.
“Florida is right behind FSU. It’s Texas, UCF and Florida State. I got the OV with them and stuff,” Hilson told On3. “Right now, after the OVs, that’s when I’m going to shut down my recruitment and focus on that one school that I pick, really.”
After his visit on the Forty Acres, IT will be looking for clarity on where Texas stands. With Lance Jackson in the class, and Texas looking solid for Marco Jones, the Horns are just covering their bases.
Caleb Chester, CB, Missouri City (Texas) Fort Bend Marshall
Texas continues to lead the pack for the 6-foot-2, 175-pound Fort Bend product. He’ll take officials to Texas, Texas A&M, and Arkansas, in that order.
At this stage, Texas and Chester make a lot of sense. He’s been getting closer to the UT staff, and is connecting with fellow Missouri City defensive back target Kade Phillips.
Michael Terry III, ATH, San Antonio (Texas) Alamo Heights
Texas will host On3’s No. 1 athlete this weekend. It’s an odd recruitment in that the Longhorns have made it clear they’d prefer him on defense, whereas his preference is on the offensive side of the ball.
Nebraska, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech seem to be in a good position for Terry, because IT doesn’t get the sense the Longhorns are pushing here at all.
Nebraska was the popular name for Terry coming out of the On3 Elite Series in Nashville last week.
