This week, it’s the long waited rematch against Alabama at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa. The Longhorns beat Rice 37-10 in the season opener last week, while Alabama took Middle Tennessee State behind the woodshed to the tune of 56-7.

No. 11 ranked Texas will take the field at No. 4 ranked Alabama at 6 p.m. central on Saturday, September 9. The game will be nationally televised by ESPN. College Game Day will be live from Tuscaloosa Saturday morning.
Saturday will be the 11th meeting between the Longhorns and Crimson Tide. Texas leads the all-time series 7-2-1. That includes a 1-0 mark at Alabama, a Texas victory in 1902. The Crimson Tide have won the last two meetings, both in the Nick Saban era. Alabama beat Texas in the 2010 National Championship Game, and 20-19 in Austin last season.
