Texas A&M at Mississippi State Friday injury report: Terry Bussey game status revealed

Texas A&M has navigated every SEC opponent it has faced thus far as the Aggies are 3-0 in the league heading into Saturday’s game at Mississippi State. Texas A&M can stay in good position to make the College Football Playoff with a win over the Bulldogs, while MSU is looking to play spoiler at home.

Mississippi State is 1-5 (0-3) on the year, but the Bulldogs have been playing better as of late. Mississippi State scored 31 points at Georgia last weekend and could have a future star in freshman quarterback Michael Van Buren.

The updated injury reports for Saturday’s game have been released and the Friday report is out. Injury reports come out for SEC games on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Jeff Lebby addresses difficult schedule for Mississippi State

Mississippi State has not won a game since they opened up the season with a 56-7 win over Eastern Kentucky. The Aggies have lost five straight games ahead of their matchup this weekend against No. 14 Texas A&M, the third straight ranked opponent on the Bulldogs’ schedule.

It won’t get much easier for Mississippi State this season in the SEC, as the Bulldogs are also slated to face three straight ranked teams to end the regular season. Hard times make strong men, though, according to first-year head coach Jeff Lebby. He addressed that when asked about his team’s challenging schedule.

“I think again, for us you learn exactly who you are and where you’re at every single step of the way,” Lebby said. “And so understanding that inside this league you get to do it against the best every single Saturday, and as a competitor man-to-man, that’s exactly what you want.”
