Tennessee pitcher Wyatt Evans enters NCAA transfer portal

Tennessee pitcher Wyatt Evans has entered the NCAA transfer portal, he announced Monday evening via X. The move comes in the middle of the NCAA Baseball Tournament with the Volunteers set to begin Super Regional play on Friday against Evansville.

Evans spent the past three seasons at Tennessee. He did not appear in any games over the past two years after pitching 16 innings for a 2.25 ERA and recording 22 strikeouts as a true freshman in 2022.
