TCU celebrates trip to the CWS after beating Indiana State

The TCU Horned Frogs have punched their ticket to Omaha after defeating Indiana State in their Super Regional showdown. The Horned Frogs were just the second team on Saturday, with the Florida Gators being the first to secure a spot in the College World Series. After their 6-4 victory over the number 14 ranked team in the nation, TCU celebrated the monumental achievement with their home crowd fans.
You can see that celebration in the video below.
TCU had to overcome an early 2-0 deficit as the Sycamores came out of the gate flying. In the first inning, Indiana State scored on back-to-back singles, giving them the early lead. However, the Horned Frogs battled back with a monstrous fourth inning scoring five runs to take a 5- 2 lead. TCU would add one more run in the sixth inning to give them a 6-2 lead. Indiana State tried to battle back, scoring two runs in the sixth as well, but in the end, it wasn’t enough.
