Sharp-shooting guard transfer Kobe Magee becomes Luke Loucks’ first FSU signee

New Florida State men’s basketball coach Luke Loucks has landed his first signee as Drexel guard transfer Kobe Magee announced Saturday he has signed with the Seminoles.
Magee, a 6-foot-6 sharp-shooter, visited FSU this week and was scheduled to visit other schools, but shut things down and signed with Florida State.
MaGee is coming off the best season of his career in 2024-25, averaging 14 points and 5.6 rebounds and being named All-Colonial Athletic Association third team.
The Allentown, Pa., product shot 43.9 percent from behind the arc this season.
Florida State also is hosting St. Bonaventure transfer Lajae Jones on a visit this weekend, and the Seminoles are expected to have additional visitors in town this coming week.
