Setting the Stage: Three interior offensive line prospects to know for Ohio State in the 2026 class
COLUMBUS – After a busy offseason full of camps and visits, top targets are starting to emerge for Ohio State in the 2026 class.
Ohio State has already offered over 150 prospects in the class and made their way to Columbus this offseason. Addiablly, several of them earned offers from Ohio State at camp this summer.
As the Ohio State coaching staff starts to shift their focus to the 2026 class, Lettermen Row will be going position by position to highlight three prospects for Buckeye fans to know next cycle. Today we focus on the interior offensive line position.
Max Riley
Four-star Avon Lake (Ohio) offensive lineman Max Riley is perhaps the top target for Ohio State offensive line coach Justin Frye in the 2026 class, regardless of position.
At 6-foot-3.5 and 265 pounds, Riley has the potential to play all five spots along the offensive line but projects best as an athletic guard at Ohio State. He camped at Ohio State in June and Frye put him through several drills that included pulling and blocking in space.
Riley, the No. 62 overall prospect and No. 6 interior offensive lineman in the On3 Industry Rankings, spoke highly of Frye’s coaching after the camp.
“I liked it a lot,” Riley told Lettermen Row. “He’s a tough coach, for sure. But he’s gonna help you get better, very straightforward. He’s a great coach in my opinion.”
Riley is set to visit Missouri for the first time next week and he visited Alabama, Clemson and Oklahoma in June. Ohio State will have to work to win this recruitment but the Buckeyes hold an early 88.4% lead for Riley on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.
Darius Gray
Every summer a few prospects put themselves on Ohio State’s radar with strong camp performances and this summer was no different.
One of those prospects this summer was four-star Richmond (Va.) St. Christopher’s School offensive lineman Darius Gray who earned an offer from Ohio State following a strong camp performance on June 6.
Gray camped in Columbus the same day as Five-Star Plus+ defensive lineman Jahkeem Stewart and won his fair share of those matchups, according to the camp observations from Lettermen Row’s Matt Parker.
“Four-star Richmond (Va) St. Christopher’s interior offensive lineman Darius Gray was arguably the best offensive lineman at the Buckeyes camp on Thursday.
“He held his own several times during 1-on-1s against five-star Reserve (La) St. Augustine defensive lineman Jahkeem Stewart.
Gray, the No. 43 overall prospect and No. 4 interior offensive lineman in the 2026 On300, is someone to keep an eye on this fall as Ohio State tries to get their top targets on campus for game-day visits.
Da’Ron Parks
Four-star Sarasota (Fla.) Cardinal Mooney offensive lineman Da’Ron Parks camped at Ohio State the same day as the aforementioned Max Riley and he also talked up Justin Frye to after the camp.
“It was a good experience,” Parks told Lettermen Row. “He taught me a lot of new drills. He taught me how to play with more leverage, play lower. How to get my feet into the ground quicker.”
While Riley is an athletic, mobile guard prospect, Parks is much more of a mauler. The 6-foot-4 and 305-pound Parks has a wide frame and the ability to move defenders with ease on Friday nights.
Parks, the No. 219 overall prospect and No. 16 interior offensive lineman in the On3 Industry Rankings, recently moved from West Virginia to Florida but still plans to attend at least one Ohio State game this fall.
