Rusty’s Ramblings: Five-star notes, ’24 RB expecting UGA staff

Todd Hartley will be in some schools in South Georgia this morning and he will be at Camden County to watch UGA 2025 commit Elyiss Williams work out. Remember he moved over from Charlton to Camden a few weeks ago. A lot of his family and brother went to Camden in the past, I am told.

Hartley is also expected to see 2024 TE and FSU commit Landen Thomas and UGA WR commit Ny Carr workout as well. Georgia is still recruiting both as you can imagine.

I am also expecting Bryan McClendon at some point today at Colquitt County. Coaches at Central (Ala) told me they are also expecting BMAC there today to see Five-Star Cam Coleman workout. He is working hard on him as you can imagine..

Confirmed Mike Bobo and Dell McGee will both be in California on Tuesday after spending most of the day in Arizona on Monday. They will both get a look at 2024 RB Nate Frazier at Mater Dei. He is another one that UGA is recruiting hard at his position.

UGA is expecting to see another Five-Star on Tuesday in David Sanders up in Charlotte. Stacy Searels will be making that trip and Georgia seems to be a in a good spot there early on with the No. 1 rated OT in the 2025 class.

Tuesday will also be the day that Glenn Schumann is back in Alabama and he will be there to see UGA 2024 LB commit Demarcus Riddick practice. I have made note after note and I still think in the end, he ends up staying in-state. Georgia continues to battle here so we will watch this one likely all the way deep into the summer. They need to get him back to campus and I am waiting on that to be confirmed and if/when he does.
