After speaking with sources, Texas is in a great spot for one of its top five-star priority prospects in the Class of 2026.

Texas has prioritized the OT stud, hosting the five-star numerous times including January for Junior Day, April for the Spring game, and again last weekend for the Elite Camp. And each time he leaves with a stronger sense he’ll end up signing with the Longhorns on NSD in December 2026.
“I like Austin,” Turntine told Inside Texas’ Charlie Williams. “I have sisters who attend Huston-Tillotson down the road from here, and I have a sister who will be attending UT in the fall. So I’ll see a lot of UT. It’s a great time every visit.”
Turntine is ranked as the No. 18 overall prospect, the No. 3 offensive tackle, and the No. 1 player in Texas in the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking, a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services.
