Rising 2025 WR Montavin Quisenberry collects Michigan offer at team-hosted camp

Michigan wide receivers coach Ron Bellamy entered the mix for rising 2025 Danville (Ky.) Boyle County wide receiver Montavin Quisenberry this past Wednesday after the sophomore competed at U-M’s camp inside Al Glick Field House.
“It felt good because Michigan is a very good school,” Quisenberry told The Wolverine. “Having the chance to compete and show what I can do at the camp was really good.”
Quisenberry has stayed highly active during the month of June by taking part in multiple team-hosted showcases nationwide. His first-ever appearance in Ann Arbor resulted in many eyes being drawn to his performance, leading to Bellamy pulling the trigger.
“They’re a true football school,” Quisenberry said. “They live and breathe football up there. All of their facilities were really nice too. Their wide receivers always work hard in the drills that they do. It translates into what they want to do in games. Everything that they do is going to help them get better in games.”
The camp was attended by hundreds of high school football wide receivers from around the country. Quisenberry and the rest of the group focused on the mechanics that Bellamy preaches daily. They also did the warmup that Michigan’s wideouts undergo in practice and before games.
Quisenberry ended up earning more reps once the camp concluded with Bellamy watching intently. The U-M assistant told Quisenberry that his play style makes him a bigger threat physically.
“Coach Bellamy was really cool and he taught me a lot,” Quisenberry said. “He puts emphasis on everything so it was nice meeting him and getting to know him. Everything that he was teaching me are things that he wants the wide receivers to do in the game. He seems like a really good coach.”
Co-defensive coordinator Steve Clinkscale, who recruits the state of Kentucky as one of his primary regions, stopped by to greet Quisenberry as well. Both of them and Bellamy took a picture together before the 5-foot-9, 160-pounder returned home.
“I got to meet Coach Clink at the camp,” Quisenberry said. “I like him. He’s cool. He’ll tell you how it is and will never sugarcoat anything.”
Along with the Wolverines, Quisenberry has collected offers from Ole Miss, Kentucky, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Louisville and Eastern Kentucky. He’s currently not ranked by On3 or the On3 Industry Ranking at this time.
Michigan holds two verbal commitments in the 2025 class – On300 Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna cornerback Chris Ewald Jr. and rising Buford (Ga.) High linebacker Mantrez Walker. The pair are listed 12th overall on the On3 Industry National Team Recruiting Rankings.
