Report: WWE to unveil branded championship belts for multiple top college programs
The WWE is set to unveil branded championship belts for some of the top programs in college athletics, similar to collaborations they’ve done in the past with the NFL and MLB, among others.
ESPN’s Pete Thamel shared some news on the revelation, including a photo of an Alabama-themed title belt, to social media on Friday morning. Check it out below.
“The WWE is set to unveil branded title belts for a number of top college programs, including Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame and LSU,” Thamel wrote. “The WWE’s collegiate legacy title belts are in line with what they’ve done in the NFL and MLB.
“The list of schools involved also includes Colorado, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Penn State, North Carolina, Michigan State, Nebraska, Florida State, Florida, Tennessee, Miami, Oregon and Kentucky.”
